More than the cheapest bows, but still considerably less than the flagship models across the different manufacturers. ![]() This bow fits between low and midrange pricing at around $400-$500. Upgrading to a newer bow gave some of these accessories, as well as an upgraded platform. String stops, for example, do a really nice job of further reducing sound, but cost about $50-$100 to add on to a bow. Arrow speeds are increasing with more aggressive cams, bow recoil (shock) is being reduced, and more features are being integrated into newer bows. As compound bow technology is still an area of high innovation, I wanted to upgrade to something newer. Bowtech typically prices the Bowtech branded binary (dual) cam bows higher than their single cam Diamond branded bows. Thanks for revamping the already great diamond edge 320 to the edge max diamond! I am very happy. My previous bow was a 2007 Bowtech Tomkat, a value priced bow from Bowtech. And I’m sure will help me bag a deer this fall. But for what it is, this bow is far superior than the rest in the price range. But you have to learn how to crawl before you walk. That’s what made this bow the best option as I am new to compound bow archery and can use this bow to learn the fundamentals and increase my skill to where I can justify spending more money on a bow that will have less adjustability but more consistency with speed and accuracy. But the big seller for this style of bow is the adjustability. And the edge max felt better in my draw than even the edge 320. Mind you I am new to archery but from all the bows I tried out in the same price range, none compare to the diamond edge in my opinion. Instantly looks and feels better than the previous edge model. So without any long term feedback on this bow I did take a plunge head first but I am glad I did. I actually anticipated buying the diamond edge 320 from my local archery shop but was told the newest version had come in and was new this year 2023. they are very well priced for what you get in terms to a hunt ready packaged bow. And after much research into build quality and reliability, followed by much more research into customer service dependability, I had chosen to go with diamond (Bowtech) lol. I had been on the hunt for a compound bow for some time. Additionally, it comes with a Diamond wrist sling and carbon 3/16 peep. The Edge MAX comes with the Furnace 4-arrow quiver, Stryker 3-pin sight, Boost 5-inch Stabilizer, and full capture brush style rest all from Octane Archery.
